My girlfriend's son discovered it at the age of 3 ... he used to wear overall shorts with no shirt in the summer ... sometimes he'd have both hands inside and look like a child with no arms! She'd try to explain to him that it's "something you do in the privacy of your room", but he didn't understand it. Like all men, he was inordinately proud of his accomplishment ... he came over to us one day on the porch when we were having lemonade and hanging out and said "MOMMY ... LOOK! IT'S SO BIG AND RED!" I thought she was going to die. I laughed until I cried, though ...

I'd rather they have condoms than babies before they're ready! My niece was 16 and asked me to take her to Planned Parenthood so she could find out about getting on the Pill ... she'd never done anything, but she didn't "want to become a statistic". I wasn't sure how I felt about it, but I was flattered that she trusted me enough to ask, so I took her.
