My visitors: repost from Ebay

FLIPPING PIZZED and here is WHY!
Posted Jun-09-08 12:22:00 PDT
My rant: Neighbor asked me to watch her animals last week. They are going to a JOB in Colorado. I agreed to watching the birds and her brother agreed to feed the dogs. She is taking the baby racoons.....I asked.
.
On Saturday by the way she calls. Are you still watching my animals to which I replied sure I will take care of your birds. She said, "Oh, we are leaving the racoons. And they need to be bottle fed four times a day.
.
WHAT?MIND YOU---- I have a couple of banty's staying in her brooder to keep warm. (I PROVIDE THEIR FOOD---SO--I CAN'T SAY NO) They will be gone to xxx until Thursday. Mind you, she told me she was taking the RACOONS with them. WHAT? I have already said yes. She said she will call me on Sunday to let me know when they are leaving. Okay-----
Sunday is here: I call her, no answer and go about my life.
.
Monday I see her pop up on IM. Guess what, she left me a note on Critter care in HER HOUSE on her kitchen cabinet. So,,,,,,,,
What would you do?

It's not the baby racoon's faults that their "MOTHER" is a dingbat. I would feed them. Can you take them to your crib?

BUSH, I asked her on the phone. We left early, I did not want to wake you up? MIND YOU, if I had not initiated the IM. Those animals would be starved. Next, I have to go round up RAVENOUS BABY COONS now.

FL, you know I usually have it OFF. or invisible. What pizzes in my cereal bowl is her lack of responsibility. Now, I am wondering if she left the dogs in the house. I can not go to her house without the boys until their day gets home at 6 pm.

Pt2:
Chicken Momma Back with Baby Racoons
Posted Jun-09-08 13:14:55 PDT
They just left their door wide open. Dogs were there, a cat was looking for feed. So, I watered them. Fed & watered baby chicks. Then I found the "three" racoons and brought them back with me.
I will go back for the baby chicks later but they have access to food and water for now.
I put the three racoons in a horse trough I used to brood my chickens and feed them already they are inside my house safe. 3 ounces formula with cereal between the three of them and I will feed them again in an hour. Not too much at first don't want them to get dehydrated. Poor things had climb out of their pen and was looking for food.
Sweaty, proud
Chicken, Racoon, Kitty, Snake, Goats, Boys MOMMA
will take pics next feeding--didn't want to stress them

Choosey, I am still flipping pizzed. I will look for the little Chi Chi dawg. I know she is due to have a litter any day.

I had a small racoon in my courtyard not long ago. It was thirsty and starving. But before it ate, it put its tiny hands all the way down to the bottom of the water bucket and washed his hands before it ate the food I gave it. So cute! The maintenance man suggested I shouldn't take the wild coon into my house. DUH! Glad he stopped me from bringing a wild coon in w/ me! lol
