We Are Deep In the Heart of Texas

Nomadic seasons of farming adventures with nature thrown in to include; a pinch of family, snippets of friends, counting our blessings, paying IT forward, home school, and the spicy things I decide to rant about.

A beautiful day: repost from ebay

What a Beautiful day!
Posted Sep-01-08 18:32:03 PDTMy hubby's relatives came over for a grill out! So my boys spent the day with their Abuela, Tia Liela, Tios Richard & James. It was fun watching them with their relatives especially when they are conversing in Spanish. They even tried on their own to speak with them and share funny farm stories.
.
With our guests, we mowed grass, finished a goat shelter, nursed a sick rooster, feed animals, washed dishes and ate together. I taught the two ladies how to attach chain stitches to towel so a crocheted top could be added to it to form towel hanger. Hopefully, soon they can return the favor and teach me more of their cooking skills. THOSE TWO CAN REALLY COOK!
.
Hugs to all & I hope you slice of heaven on this Labor Day was fulfilling.
