More babies born: repost from Ebay

Babies Born at Chicken Momma's Houze
Posted Jun-08-08 18:34:41 PDT
Shartey my favorite Shark-Granny. Not only is "tuber" yesterdays blessing now, we have "sprout."
The chicken I helped hatched 4 days ago died, she was lonely. Good Bye, Sweet "Ovum" she was the first chicken I watch join the world and helped.

Myne, Don't be sorry. Ovum was a learning experience. I got to watch the miracle of birth and saw her breathe and stand on her own. It was priceless. Life is not life with out death.

Also it was too hot the day she was born. The membrane inside the egg had dried too tight.

Mom, It was so cool to watch OVUM. My first chicken hatch from begining to end. There is only one more egg left in the nest.

Love the tree, is really old and big. Its one branch we use to sit or the chickens lay next too.
