We Are Deep In the Heart of Texas

Nomadic seasons of farming adventures with nature thrown in to include; a pinch of family, snippets of friends, counting our blessings, paying IT forward, home school, and the spicy things I decide to rant about.

Never Give Up! Never Surrender!

I don't know what it is about this movie....... but, I love it.  (only 1 min 45 secs)

Galaxy Quest 1995, with Tim Allen and Sigourney Weaver.

It's a lazy day because I have some kind of cold and feel tired.  I have given the boys the day off from school and have been camping on the couch.  Tomorrow, hubby's lasik eye surgery which makes me kinda antsy.  Then this weekend, if he is up and about we will be taking our boys to the Peanut Festival. It will be a pretty quiet weekend.

We received a box of items from Grumpy Gramps which, the boys are going through.  Lucky for them errrr me, :O)

he sent a set of Spanish language cds (20) and will be included in our classroom curriculum.  Plus: toys, books, games, radio, camera, cds, videos,  puzzles, free samples, educational materials or things that make them go hum?

What is so cool about recieving a box from Mr. Larry?  It's a Forest Gump box of chocolates! LOL You never know what you are going to get.

Thank you, Grumpy!

Going to take another nap.........

Sorry you are not feeling well, just rest and let the boys check out all the goodies they got!

Your insurance pays for lasik? Dang! Wish ours did! DH had his done about 4-5 years ago, now he needs reading glasses. Of course he has reached "that certain age".

Feel better . I am fighting a cold myself. I think is it from staying up all night canning pears. Your boys are so lucky to have such family support. I would love to get boxes of choc. in the mail.
