We Are Deep In the Heart of Texas

Nomadic seasons of farming adventures with nature thrown in to include; a pinch of family, snippets of friends, counting our blessings, paying IT forward, home school, and the spicy things I decide to rant about.

Meet Banjo and Sonic

Lisa's mom heard of a lady in San Antonio giving away free puppies so she took them in for a night. Thank you Ms. Patricia.  Yesterday, hubby and Lisa went San Antonio to pick up these babies. They are so tiny.
This is Banjo, the little man I am taking care of with help from Saenz and Zephyr.

This is how tiny they are, Banjo weighs only 1lb 6 oz and Sonic weighs 1lb 12 oz both males.  They are 7 weeks old and will be going to the vet on Tuesday.  They are in the process of potty training and are so far, kinda wigged out over the chickens running about the yard.

Banjo taking a nap as I type in my desk drawer wrapped in a dish towel. We have been super busy with stuff around the house and school  I hope ya'll are well. By the way, their names come from vintage video game characters we loved from the early nineties.

Awww... SO cute! Lots of luck with the potty training! Any idea what their ancestry is? I'll bet the boys are ga-ga and you too!

Hey Jen, These are ours to keep. Are they precious?

Howdy Sharon, They are chihuahuas. So far, they are great by letting us know when they have to go outside. We are stoked over them. I am going to make them little sweaters this afternoon after town chores.

Congrats on the new babies, Mal! I love chihuahuas. And for them to be adopted together by you as inside dogs, those are two lucky pups!!!

Oh, they are adorable! Did you get an clock that ticks to put in their doggy bed at night, supposed to help them sleep as it is much like the sound of Mama's heartbeat. I'm sure they will potty train in no time.

Judy, I am hoping they turn out to be campanions. LOL So far they are whiney through the night just like newborns. Lisa and I are trading off for their care. Poor things kept her up to about 6:30 this morning. Now they being looked after by Saenz.

Jen, They so playful and we love them. Just hoping their first checkups go well with parvo testing.

John, I just love dogs to pieces. They are so soulful. Glad to see Boris is still about.

LOL Randy, Maybe blogger security needs spellcheck. When I told Saenz what dork meant he stopped using the word.

Kat, I have to try the clock tonight since, they do not sleep through the night. Much to the chagrin of Lisa; she is our resident night owl.
