We Are Deep In the Heart of Texas

Nomadic seasons of farming adventures with nature thrown in to include; a pinch of family, snippets of friends, counting our blessings, paying IT forward, home school, and the spicy things I decide to rant about.

We started building

We started organizing our 'school house.' This will be both our chalkboard, and project board.  I used chalk board paint, two coats and it will now dry for 24 hours then I will season (cure) it with chalk before has a writeable surface.  The other side will be painted white so, I may use either an overhead projector or slide viewer.

Their lap chalk board under way.
Dad is teaching them about carpentary.

Yes Mrs. Sharon, Those are shelves for our 15 by 20 school room. We have one more bookshelf left to build. Then I will organize all our materials according to subject.
